This collaboration marks a significant step towards promoting sustainable aquaculture and food security in the region as well as securing on-the-job experience and employment opportunities for Zone01 Kisumu apprentices.

Among other rewards, Five Zone01 Kisumu apprentices who emerged victorious in the #CodeandCheer hackathon have earned a fully paid trip to Siaya County as understudies on The Aquaculture Consortium's #NoSexforFish Campaign.
