We are thrilled to announce that LakeHub has secured a KES. 10M grant to implement the Kenya Industry and Entrepreneurship Project-Strengthening Kenya's Innovation Ecosystem (KIEP-SKIES) rapid technical skills training initiative in Kenya. LakeHub will implement this prestigious project through Zone01 Kisumu.

On May 4th 2024, we gathered at the University of Nairobi Kisumu Campus for the GDG-hosted Build with AI, an event focussed on integrating Gemini AI into applications via an Application Programming Interface (API) key.

We were glad to welcome the County Government of Kisumu First Lady, Her Excellency Mrs. Dorothy Nyong’o to Zone01 Kisumu today. Mama County was welcomed to the Zone by our Managing Director Dorcas Owino and Site Manager Caleb Nyoiro. She also met the entire Zone01 Kisumu team.
