After 3 days and 2 nights of collaboration, mentorship, intense brainstorming, passionate yet friendly disagreement, pitching and judging, we are beyond excited to announce the successful conclusion of the Zone01 Kisumu and New Nexus #CodeandCheer Hackathon. We have witnessed 19 ideas come to life and we hope to see them out there solving real world challenges. A huge thank you to our apprentices, who truly showed the best version of themselves throughout the hackathon.

Thank you to our mentors, judges, partners (KIEP-SKIES 👋🏽) and the Zone01 Kisumu staff who made this hackathon a resounding success. This is what the future of tech collaboration and innovation looks like! And finally, congratulations to Team Heal, whose online platform for victims of #GBV emerged the overall winner of the #CodeandCheer hackathon and the collection of awards they've earned so far.
